There are no doubts
Diego Armando Maradona knew how to show that trademark. That
boy, who at the age of nine, traveled two hours a day, from
Villa Fiorito to train with “Los Cebollitas” (The
Little Onions) promised, “to break it”. Jorge, who
had been apart from that team after his brother Juan Eduardo
died, came back to check upon the comments. That was how a great
friendship grew between them, and it consolidated among childhood
games and deep conversation. Maradona used to stay home in Cyterszpiler’s
family home as well. |
Maradona himself asked his friend from childhood Jorge Cyterszpiler,
to represent him in 1977, thus becoming the first argentine soccer
manager of an argentine soccer player.
  |
The quick development in Maradona’s career,
his national repercussion, as well as the strong press and commercial
pressure, demanded the creation of an effective and modern company,
which could foresee all details. |
That is how Maradona Producciones (Maradona Productions) was born.
Advertising, promotion and public relations departments as well
as a press office, an exclusive journalistic, photographic and VHS
archive, translators. legal, economic and financial advisers were
called; an administrative department and a project development department
settled the permanent staff of the company.
The goals achieved by Maradona Producciones, were to manage the
player’s image with the press and commercially throughout
the world.

Maradona Producciones shows the importance
of being side by side with top local companies.
In 1985 Jorge Cyterszpiler leaves the vice presidency of Maradona
Producciones, leaving the activity as soccer player´s agent
but never leaving the soccer world and the commercial activity.
